Ministries - Services
United Methodist Women -
This is our official women's service organization. They are involved with many community
needs. They meet on the second Thursday of most months at a member's home. Each
month they conduct a birthday party at the Kuna Living Center - to celebrate that month's
Birthday Folks - both the clients and the staff. This monthly celebration is a big hit for
those who live there. See the calendar for more details.
Mothers of Young Children -
Each month a group of young women from within our church and others gather for some
social time, a meal and general fellowship and support centered around children. Call

Book Club -
Each month a group gathers on the third Tuesday to discuss the book selected for
reading that month. Even if all haven't read the book, they still enjoy the conversation.

Kuna Food Bank -
Emergency Food Supply for families within the Kuna School District. Food distributed
by appointment only - normally on Tuesday thru Thursday - call 922-4745 and leave a message with your name and phone number.
If you don't hear back from us within a day, call and leave the message again. (Sometimes
we can't understand your phone number or you get cut off.)
We receive food from the "Scouting for Food" food drive by the Boy Scouts and the
"Letter Carrier's Food Drive" put on by the Post Office workers and other volunteers;
from the Food Bank Barrel at Pauls Grocery Store,
from food drives at the schools, local Businesses, community members
from the Idaho PieceMakers Quilt Club & their Kuna Days Quilt Show
from collections by Girl Scouts & the Community Library (Cans for fines! How creative).
We receive financial support from community members, from our HR Block partnership
and Trail Riders ATV Club.
Library -
We have an extremely well stocked Lending-Library in our Church.
It is staffed on Tuesdays 1:30pm - 4:30pm
