Copying Christ

pastormia20

When Jesus told the disciples (and us!), “come and follow me,” he expected them to follow, learn and be transformed. He gave them parables. He gave them sayings. And he modeled holy living. He modeled a lifestyle of living in the kingdom of God. And while he was the Son of God and we are not, we are children of God with the capacity to copy Christ in our own discipleship journey.

This Sunday we begin a five week worship series looking at a few of the qualities of Christ and then copying those qualifies in our lives. This Sunday we’ll look at the compassion of Christ.

This Sunday 9:30am. Bring a lawn chair or use one of ours. Warning: copying Christ will transform your life and the whole world.

Peace,

Pastor Mia
