Joy, Community, and a Wedding

In less than 2 months I’ll be getting married, and I want to invite you.  Jim has been an unexpected joy in my life and celebrating our wedding vows with the community (you!) will be such a blessing.  If you haven’t met Jim yet, he’s at church every Sunday (in the back pew).  Say hello.

We knew that we either needed to have a small wedding, or invite everybody.  We opted for inviting everybody.  This is an informal affair so shorts/jeans are welcome.  Afterward there’ll be a BBQ in the church parking lot.  I’m so delighted that my Lutheran bishop, Bishop Meggan Manlove, and my Methodist superintendent, Rev. Dr. Rob Walters, will be officiating.  Several of you have already stepped up to help with the BBQ.  I’m so grateful!

On Sunday Sept 20th, we’ll have worship as normal at 10am, and then the wedding will be at 4pm.  All are welcome.
