All relationship have RUPTURES, those conflicts large and small that hurt or diminish. All relationships that last have REPAIRS, those balms that heal and strength.
Christ doesn’t call us to mistake-proof love, but rather love that is always repairing, always building, always making peace. “if you are about to place your gift on the altar and remember that someone is angry with you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. Make peace with that person, then come back and offer your gift to God.”
