THE CRUCIFIED AND RESURRECTION LIFE

No one gets out of this life unscathed. It’s a universal truth. We all experience pain, grief, despair, or darkness of some sort. Even people of faith. That is a given. It is living a crucified life.

For Christians, what is different is that it doesn’t end with darkness and despair. We live a crucified and a resurrected life. The worst thing is never the last thing. There is comfort, belonging, and new life. There is no darkness that the light cannot overcome.  

That is the story we are baptized in. This Sunday we will celebrate as four enter the waters of baptism, and then rise with Christ. As they welcome Christ into their lives, we welcome them into ours. Praise God!!!
