4TH WEEK OF ADVENT: THE LIVING ONE

I know the difference between getting by and really living. There have been seasons in my life when I was plowing forward as fast as I could, full of anxiety and worry. Even on rest days, I didn’t really rest. I was getting by, but not really living.

And then there have been seasons, with healthy prayer practices and community living, when I have felt really alive. I felt creative and engaged. Rest was rejuvenating. I was really living.

God is fully alive and gives a life of abundance to all who follow. This Sunday we’ll hear about the one who is born as the Living One.
