Banned Books of the Bible

The Nampa School Board recently voted to permanently ban almost two dozen books from their shelves due to concerns they contain “pornography.” According to the Idaho Press, “some of the books are rated as having little or no sexual content by Common Sense Media, an organization that provides age-based ratings for books, movies and video games.”

Banning books is not new. Every few years a new wave crashes over us. And it’s been going on a long time. A really long time. Even with books of the Bible.

This Sunday we start a sermon series on Banned Books of the Bible.
