This week the kids are doing the Discipleship Camp and learning all about compassion. They are learning that compassion is:
I see your hurt
I feel your hurt
I work to ease your hurt
Jesus’ compassion was personal and it began with seeing. We welcome people into our lives so that we can see them and see their hurt. It is part of the power of Christian living — seeing the pain of others and then being a source of God’s grace to ease their hurt.
This Sunday 9:30am. Bring a lawn chair or use one of ours. Warning: copying Christ will transform your life and the whole world.
