They say that the arrogant amongst us are actually covering up insecurity. If you’ve been accused of being arrogant, you might know what they are talking about. And so we’ve learned not to be first, because it looks arrogant.
And yet, often God calls us to be first: to take the first step, put ourselves out there, to be seen, so that God can work through us to transform the world. It will be risky. People will criticize. You won’t do it perfectly. And in the end, none of that will matter as you watch the glory of God work through you.
