Compassion transforms the world and we can only hold hard-lined positions when we have no lived experience of the issue. Immigration is one of those issues that most of us have no lived experience of. And so we’ll listen more and speak less, hearing the stories of people who have left home for a new land.

Human migration is as old as humanity, and it happens a lot in Biblical times. Scripture has a lot to tell us as we strive to be Christ-like with compassion and humility around immigration.

Be part of the conversation. See you Sunday.

Peace,

Pastor Mia
