GIVE MORE

Exasperation is a real problem. Our compassion suffers and our ability to give of ourselves diminishes. Sometimes exasperation comes from being too busy, or too much being asked of us. Sometimes it comes from frustration, a disconnect between what we expect and what happens.

Was John frustrated that Jesus wasn’t the Messiah he was looking for? Was Jesus frustrated that John didn’t see the signs?

Before we are able to give more, we begin with deep connection with the One who is the source of all energy and love. We clear away those expectations and look for the signs God has given us. As that energy and love flows into us, we find that it easily flows through us too.

The kingdom of heaven has been given to us, and with it comes astounding capacity to give of our ourselves.

Peace,

Pastor Mia
